"Persons connected with Obul Reddy have sent me a notice that portrayal of the latter in a vindictive form in my latest film Rakta Charitra would not be tolerated. I was threatened by various sources that violation of the notice would lead to my killing in their own style, without the court's decision to come. Gaining knowledge of the subject of my film is not possible until the screening of the latter. I just warn the people who try to threaten me without thorough knowledge of the film, that I would neither be frightened of Obul Reddy's people nor the ghost of Obul Reddy.
