Even as Bollywood's biggest stars go from door to door like travelling salesmen giving interviews to promote their films, but the Tamil superstar Rajnikanth has reportedly refused to give media interviews to promote his upcoming film Robo.
According to sources, "Rajni hasn't done interviews for a long time. And he has also been busy. September 3 was his daughter Soundarya's marrige which Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan attended in Chennai. And Rajni has told the Robot producers that he will see the film and then decide whether he wants to do any interviews. And as far as the South goes, he is not doing any interviews there at all. He doesn't believe in that exercise."
Rajni doesn't feel the need to knock on the media doors for publicity.
